T.C. Christensen is a renowned American cinematographer, film director and writer. In 2010, he was invited to join the American Society of Cinematographers which is an organization of the elite directors of photography in the world. His films have won over 300 awards at film festivals around the world. His recent full-length film, Escape from Germany was in theaters longer than any other film in 2024. T.C. has been described as the “mentor” of Napoleon Dynamite by director Jared Hess.

 Coming from a family of dentists, TC is in a unique position to appreciate how a director uses techniques like clothing, hair and teeth to create a character. While enjoying the fun and success that have accompanied his work, Christensen has dedicated his life to creating uplifting films.

 “I look for the best stories and we have so many great stories in our history and culture that that’s where I end up finding them,” said Christensen. The whole world is his inspiration. He looks to books, art and conversations for his ideas.

 T.C. Is married to the lovely Katy Christensen who continues to tutor him in the finer points of putting dirty dishes into the dishwasher and closing drawers all the way.

The Poster Session is an opportunity to hear from student clinicians preparing to present their dental research at the American Academy of Dental Research annual meeting. Also, learn from local dental residents sharing current research and clinical practices. Attend and observe these presentations to receive 1 hour CE credit.
